Floating Photo Studios, 2022

We invited park goers to fly kites, take photos from the sky, print their images on postcards, and respond to reflective questions on the back. On the last day of the project this aerial archive was dispersed and mailed to everyone who participated, encouraging this conversation about power, photography, community and surveillance to continue. This project took place at Hilltop Community Park as a part of the San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture Park Social Initiative.
